The Automatic Electric guns utilize a battery & motor system to pull a piston back against a spring which is then released and pulled back again, allowing for automatic and semi-automatic firing. There are several types of electric powered airsoft guns, all with varying amounts of power. There are low powered Electric , Medium Powered Electric , Electric Blow Backs, Mini Electrics and Auto Electric Pistols.
Each type of AIRSOFT GUN is different, if only just a little. Low Powered Electric AIRSOFT GUNS are typically considered bottom line even when compared to spring powered variants. This is because the internal parts of a low powered Electric AIRSOFT GUN cannot produce the same amount of power as a lightly coiled spring,
Medium Powered Electric AIRSOFT GUNS are quite a bit nore powerful than their Low Powered cousins. In fact these guns are almost as powerful as the standard Automatic Electric , only they don't operate at the same range,
The Electric Blow Back AIRSOFT GUNS usually have a low velocity & use a "blowback" system uch like that of a real pistol,
Mini Electric AIRSOFT GUNS have a small capacity for ammunition, Often between fifty & one-hundred rounds each, & fire full auto. These are often made of clear plastic & don;t look as realistic as the rest. Auto Electric Pistols use AA &/or AAA batteries and have a slower velocity than normal Guns. This makes them a bit less tempting when it comes to Airsoft Play.
Collectors enjoy airsoft because of the excellent level of realism in the replica models. Airsoft also represents the only available legal way that the general public can enjoy owning and using these small objects of desire.
Military fans enjoy airsoft because the replicas look identical to the guns used by Armed Forces.
